Terms and Conditions

Effective 7 October 2026. These terms apply to the River One OPD website at https://www.riverone.in and to the Android app River One (in.riverone.opd).

1. Agreement

By registering a clinic, signing in, or using the Android app, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you create an account for a clinic, you confirm that you are allowed to bind that clinic.

2. The service

River One OPD is software for outpatient clinic administration. Approved staff can register patients, manage appointments and slots, record visits, save prescriptions, use the pharmacy tools, create lab requests, view reports, manage receptionist logins, and use the prepaid clinic wallet. Optional WhatsApp messages can be sent when that feature is configured for the platform.

The service stores information entered by clinic staff. It does not provide a medical opinion, does not prescribe, and does not contact emergency services. Clinical decisions remain with the treating doctor and the clinic.

3. Eligibility and accounts

  • Use is limited to super admin, clinic owner, and receptionist accounts.
  • A new clinic stays inactive until a super admin approves it. Approval can be refused.
  • You must give a working email address and a password of at least 8 characters, and you must keep the password confidential.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account, including activity by a receptionist you create.
  • Patients are not given accounts. Do not share a staff login with a patient.

4. Clinic records

The clinic must enter accurate information and must have a proper basis to record each patient’s personal and health information. The clinic must not upload content it has no right to store. River One may suspend access that puts the service, other clinics, or patients at risk.

5. Wallet

The clinic wallet is a prepaid balance in Indian rupees held inside the software. The balance is debited for patient registration fees and follow-up visit charges according to the pricing and wallet rules configured for that clinic. The clinic owner records a top-up by entering an amount and a payment reference. Recording a reference does not, by itself, mean a bank or UPI payment was collected inside the app. The minimum top-up is set by the platform and is ₹300 unless an administrator changes it.

Wallet amounts are usage records for the clinic account. They are not a deposit with a bank and they are not a patient bill generated for insurance.

6. WhatsApp

WhatsApp sending depends on platform configuration and on patient consent stored by the clinic. You must not use the feature to send marketing or clinical documents to a person who has not agreed, or to a number that is not the patient’s. Delivery depends on WhatsApp and the recipient’s phone. A failed or delayed WhatsApp message does not remove the clinic’s own duty to communicate urgent clinical information by an appropriate channel.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. That includes attempting to access another clinic’s data, probing or bypassing sign-in, uploading malware, using the system for unlawful prescriptions or fraudulent wallet entries, or overloading the service.

8. The Android app

The Android app opens this website. These terms cover use through the app. Google Play’s terms also apply to the download. Removing the app from a phone does not delete the clinic account. Use the deletion page for that request.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, hosting faults, WhatsApp outages, or a suspended account can interrupt use. The clinic should keep any copies of records it is required to hold outside the software.

10. Intellectual property

The software, its design, and its branding are owned by River One or its licensors. Clinic and patient records entered by a clinic remain that clinic’s records, subject to the Privacy Policy and a verified deletion request. You receive a limited right to use the service for your clinic while the account is active and approved.

11. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis for clinic administration. To the extent the law allows, River One is not liable for clinical outcomes, for decisions made using records in the system, for WhatsApp delivery, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such an exclusion is unlawful.

If a court finds us liable for a clinic’s use of the software, that liability is limited to the wallet fees actually recorded for that clinic in the three months before the claim, or INR 5,000, whichever is lower, except where the law requires otherwise.

12. Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, fails approval, or creates a security risk. A clinic owner may ask us to close the clinic account. Closure follows the deletion process after we verify the request. Some wallet and security logs may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new effective date. If you do not agree, stop using the service and request account deletion.
